AWP in Review

This year’s AWP was a great success!  We shared a table with the ever wonderful Fourth Genre, threw the most monumental party in DC history (no, seriously, George Washington is rolling in his grave with envy) with The Normal School & Fourth Genre, tailgated with Creative Nonfiction, attended too many fabulous readings to count, and visited with friends old and new.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!  See you next year in Chicago!

Party with us at AWP!

Come party with The Pinch, The Normal School, Fourth Genre, and our many distinguished guests.

First 200 guests receive a ticket for a free drink!

Nonfiction Updates March 29th

At our recent Pinch party, we enjoyed hearing contributor Joshua Schriftman read excerpts from his essay “How to Build Your Own Labyrinth” (published in issue 30.1).

In the office, we’ve received many great new nonfiction pieces, with topics ranging from Belorussian fishmongers to late-night subways to the perils of social networking. We’re currently looking at several terrific pieces.

Make sure to join us at the Pinch Party at AWP in Denver on April 8th!

We partied

The release party for the Spring 2010 issue was a rousing success. In fact we had so much fun, we’re taking the day to recover instead of posting about our amazing bash. Look for photos and first-hand accounts in the coming days.

Don’t forget you too can get a taste of the (in)famous Pinch punch at AWP in April. So if you’ll be in Denver, plan on partying with us.
